Looking for something different then what is on our regular schedule? Choose this option for a full-day adventure in either Yosemite Valley or Tuolumne Meadows. Plan to meet the guide in the morning and discuss options.

Highlights in Yosemite Valley can include: Yosemite Falls, Bridalveil Falls, the nose of El Capitan, Happy Isles, the famous Mist Trail, Mirror Lake, the Royal Arches, and the children always like the secret Indian Caves and/or Spider Caves. Our guides can also take you to the Old Chapel, the site of the old Pioneer Village, the Pioneer Cemetary, the famous Majestic Hotel (previously known as the Ahwahnee Hotel), and any other location you may want to see or marvel at. Of course other prominent geographical features such as Half Dome, North Dome, and many others will also be pointed out on this tour.

Guides carry first aid kits, water purification methods, toilet paper (for emergencies), suntan lotion and bug repellent. Please plan to bring your own lunch, snacks, water bottles, etc.

We booked two full day private tours with Lasting Adventures. One day was spent in the valley and the other was in the high country. Our tour guide for both days was Zach. He was fantastic. Very accommodating and filled with lots of knowledge. We had a great time both days with him. You could really tell that he enjoyed his work and the area in which he worked. We would definitely book with Lasting Adventures again should we ever make our way back to Yosemite. We were so inspired that we had thoughts of camping for a night in the high country. If you knew me and my family, camping is not high on our list of things to do. The Holiday Inn is "roughing it" for us. We'll keep this on the list of life experiences that need to be checked off the list.

We had a great time with this tour! Our tour guide, Aida, was very knowledgeable and gave us a tour of all the valley floor. Would recommend this to anyone who goes to Yosemite!

We had 4 day hikes with our fantastic guide Zach. The hikes were beautiful, more than we would have taken on our own. Zach is a great guide, very knowledgeable about Yosemite as well as nature in general. We all really enjoyed our time with him. We would highly recommend him!

We went on this trip at the end of July, and our guide Meg was awesome! It truly makes exploring the Valley so much more enjoyable when you don't have to plan or look at maps. My husband and two boys, ages 7 and 9, and I could not have been happier with our guide Meg. She literally answered every question my kids threw at her, and this in itself is an amazing accomplishment, but she also tailored our trip to both our activity level and interests. We walked 9 miles over the course of several hours, and the boys didn't even seem to notice until the end. Also, I am not particularly fit, so this walk was peppered with plenty of stops and breaks. She even took the boys through a secret cave during the hike. They said it was their favorite part of the trip. After we were done, Meg spent time pointing out other things we might want to do during our stay. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone. Ot was amazing.

This is my first ever Trip Advisor submission compelled by such a positive recent experience with Lasting Adventures. In mid-August, my family completed a four day / three night Yosemite backpacking trip. We are four with two teens. The trip was our first of this kind. Everything about Lasting Adventures was as we hoped. Pre-trip planning with its Founder / Exec. Director Scott Gehrman was ideal. His replies to emails were (always) rapid and personable; his flexibility and insights created an optimal itinerary: approximately 25 breathtakingly beautiful miles from Glacier Point into the Illilouette Valley through Yosemite Valley, to Half Dome, then back to Yosemite Valley via the Mist Trail. Operations Manager Chris Hubach, a veteran former Yosemite National Park Ranger, facilitated prep and permitting right up until departure. Equipment essentials were provided and first rate -- tent, backpacks, sleeping bag and pad, hiking poles, and eating gear. Speaking of... their hiking food selections and adaptability were great. Our assigned trip guides were Ciaran Reddy & Felicity Holmes, who had led teen hikes this past summer. Simply put: we love Ciaran & Felicity! Their kindness & knowledge, caring & culinary skills, judgment & joy, enthusiasm & encouragement, passion & purpose, and fun & friendship made it a truly LASTING adventure. We could not be more appreciative and admiring of Lasting Adventures, nor recommend them more highly.

Everything about our experience was excellent. Easy to book, easy to work with. Our tour guide Zach was absolutely the best - incredibly well-informed, and terrific with our 11-year-old son. Highly recommend!

My favorite part was Mt Hoffman, the only thing is that 4 continues days I think it was to much for a regular group that are not use to do hiking before, so at the last two days you are really tired to take advantage of everything!! Our guide Ari was incredible, you feel they really love this and what they are doing here. The hotel has incredible facility and beautiful, the only problem is that the service in my case was really bad, I just ask for a cleaning of my room for 2 o 3 days of my 7 night stay and they simply said no, the staff of reception are really rude and don't have any type of guest service attitude, the reason or excuse is covid, but in any place of the hotel, restaurant included, nobody use a mask, there is gel in only one place of entire hotel, so it is clear that they are not concern of covid spread, the problem is the staff or the management and maybe to gain more money for not to give the service they should.

Our tour guide was Trey and he was awesome! We learned some interesting facts about Yosemite that entertained us and our kids. We had a great experience as a family. I highly recommend this tour to see the best of Yosemite. Trey also recommended hikes for us to do on our own during the rest of our time in Yosemite.
